This is a simple map superficially illustrating political unrest and conflict in the Middle East and Northern Africa since the beginning of the year.

I used ESRI© ArcMap™ 9.2, with Landworks Parcel Edit Tools™, as well as free shapefile data provided by cloudmade.com and gis-lab.info.
